Day Program Services

We have outgrown our current Day Services Program facility in San Jose and are actively seeking a new, expanded and improved location. Keep a lookout for additional announcements in the near future.

Supported Living Services

Greater Opportunities Consumers with the greatest needs receive on-going, in-home support from Greater Opportunities Supported Living Service staff to maintain their independence in the community. Services are tailored to the need of the individual and may range from a few hours to a week 24/7 for persons with multiple impairments.

Independent Living Services

160 Greater Opportunities consumers live independently in apartments throughout Santa Clara County. The six-unit Cortez Street Building in Sunnyvale owned and operated by Greater Opportunities provides transitional housing and hosts Independent Living Services  classes taught three hours per day, four days per week. Topics include:

• Nutrition
• Anger Management
• Money Management
• Bargain Shopping
• Laundry
• Housekeeping and much more.
